About Me

I was born and brought up in South Wales, educated at a local comprehensive school and then studied at Oxford University. I am a lawyer by training and have worked both in social housing and in business and so I understand the priorities of public services as well as the needs of business. I’m also a charity trustee so know how vital the voluntary sector is today. I joined Labour as a teenager because I believed then as I believe now that it represents the only means of transforming society in the interests of the many, not the few.

My Priorities

  • to make sure every child can have a decent education not based on the ability to pay
  • to tackle the huge income inequalities which undermine the quality of life for all
  • to make sure all have access to decent, affordable housing
  • to work hard for Beaconsfield and to give every voter a voice in Parliament
